Harare Theological College Trains Leaders for the Church

HTC currently has 16 students in its extension program through the Prison Fellowship of Zimbabwe. Students, who went to a two week workshop given by the Dean of Students, Mr. Thomas Hodzi, have asked HTC to perhaps start an extension site in Bulawayo and Masvingo. HTC may well be able to facilitate these requests because the College has already been taping lectures for the courses being taught at Harare Central Prison and in Chikurubi Maximum Security Prison. Faculty were barred entry, so HTC has taped lectures for them the chaplains bring the assignments back to HTC to be graded. This not only enables HTC to train more leaders for the church in Zimbabwe, but also helps the College’s bottom line.
